Ganesh Himal Trekking


Ganesh Himal Trekking - region are designed to introduce you to a broad spectrum of life in different Nepalese communities and varieties of beautiful scenery. You may visit base camp of the Ganesh Himal where there are two lakes _ Black and white. Twin waterfalls - ganga and Jamuna, bring joy to your heart. This trek is recommended by many trekkers though it is not as popular as Annapurna and Everest. Visit this area in March and April, and you will see the mountainsides red with magnificent Rhododendron blooms - Nepal  national flower. Visit Gorkha, the birthplace of modern Nepal. This was the home of King Prithivi Naryan Shah, who fought many wars to unite the tiny kingdoms spread throughout the land now known as Nepal. His Palace can be seen on the top of the hill at Gorkha. This area is also the homeland of the original of Gorkha Warriors. The Ganesh Himal trek begins at Trishuli, a four hours drive from Kathmandu and ends at Gorkha, a six hour drive to return to Kathmandu

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu International airport meet (Adventure Moutan Leader) airport representative Assist and transfer to selected hotel,


Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional guide.


Days 03: Trisuli- Salangkhu Khola We drive to Trisuli in the morning and have lunch near the Trisuli Electricity dam. After lunch we walk for about 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola and camp.


Days 04: Salangkhu Khola- Balche village An easy walk and then a short climb takes us to Kalawale village for lunch. After lunch we proceed to the big Tamang village of Balche for our overnight camp.


Days 05: Balche village- Gonga We take an easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with peak of Langtang lirung and Gosainkunda in good view.


Days 06: Gonga (acclimatization rest at Gonga)


Days 07: Gonga- Singla We walk through rhododendom forest to camp either at Rupchet, a title pasture, or up on the singla Pass (4600) the singla pass offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung,Ganesh Himal,Boudha Himal Peak, Him chuli, Machhapuchare, Annapurna south and Annapurna II.


Days 08: Singla- Serthung village we walk down through pine and rhondondendon forest to the tamang village of serthung and set up camp with good views of mountains all arounds.


Days 09: Serthung village- Laba A sort flat trail and then gradual descent passing through Barang village and then crossing the ankhukhola take us to laba a big Tamang village.


Days 10: Laba- Mongeythanti we climb gently over a hill and then descend through forests to camp at Mongeythanti.


Days 11: Mongeythanti- Dumchet village a gradual walk down to our camp at Dumchet village.


Days 12: Dumchet village- Budigandaki We takes gradual walk today to Baseri and camp near the Budigandaki River.


Days 13: Budigandaki- Arughat we walk along the bank of the Budigandaki river and stop at Arughat Bazaar for the night. There are tea shop and police station.


Days 14: Arughat- Khanchowk we gradually climb the Khanchowk Danda crossing the Mukti Khola and camp for the night.


Days 15: Khanchowk- Gorkha We cross a ridge today and walk gradually up hill to Gorkha camping near the old palace.


Days 16: Gorkha- Kathmandu We have a tour of Gorkha palace, the Palace of King Prithivi Narayan shah who united Nepal in 1881 AD and visit the Bazaar, before driving back to Katmandu.


Day 17: free transport to departure international Airport,


1. International airport to hotel pick up and drop by car
2. both way express bus.
3. Camp site tent or Lodge accommodation on the way
4. Meals three times a day (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
